What's New With Us

Well there isn't a whole lot new going on with us, but for those who don't know anything about us let's start from the beginning. I've been a dental assistant for 3 years and that's where Jared and I met. He was a patient at my first office I worked at, he came in for a cleaning and if you ask to hear his side of the story he'll say I "sprayed him in the face" with the air water. Well weather I sprayed him or not things ended up working out between us. We were married almost one year later to the day of our first date in the Salt Lake Temple, and we purchased our first home last June. Jared, Kodiak and I are so excited that summer is right around the corner for all of the camping and four wheeeling we'll be doing in Jared's Blazer. We went on our first "camping trip of the season about a month ago. I made Jared go online and find us a campsite, the only campsites open that early in the season that wasn't hours of travel time was Antelope Island. After a fifty minute drive we we're finally there. It was nothing like I imagined it. After an hour of setting everything up we decided to start a fire to make it feel more like camping. Sorry to stray from the subject for just a second but in order to understand this next part I feel like I need to explain to you that Jared and i have the worst luck in the entire world!! I have the most unfortunate luck and Jared also has bad luck but put us together and you've got the most horrible, outrageously crazy bad luck you can think of. So since our last name is Black, whenever we get screwed I just say we got "Blacked". Ok back to our campfire ordeal we had just bought a brand new gun lighter, never been opened and what do you know.....IT DOESN'T WORK!!!! So in other words we got "Blacked" yet again, shocker. So that was the last straw, we decided to go home. So an hour of setting up was taken down and loaded in the car in fifteen minutes.
